Alternative Soundtrack Jam #5:

Restriction: Shops, Earthbound

I took this to mean "Buy Something Already" from the OST, so I went with a hokey psuedo-BLUEGRASS-style ditty as shop music from that era seemed to love being campy/humorous for whatever reason. I decided to play the Jug along with it, because why not? Even though SNES didn't use anything other than midi as far as I know. It was fun researching different banjo techniques and the saloon style piano fit as well.

Alternative Soundtrack Jam #4:

Restriction: Coral Riff, Crypt of the Necrodancer

I thought some kind of classical and dance fusion with subtle goth/industrial undertones was the way to go. It turned into its own thing.

I created it using BeepBox, exporting the tracks/ groups of tracks separately by muting the others and exporting each track to its own wav file. I then drag n dropped the wav track files directly into Audacity for mixing/mastering (volume adjustments, effects, etc.).
